Transportation around Walt Disney World

Many people don’t think about transportation issues when they plan a trip or travel to Walt Disney World.  It is important to consider how big the theme park really is and it is almost impossible to travel through Orlando without properly planned transportation.  Many of the ways you can travel throughout the theme park include the monorail, boats, and buses.

It is important that your vacation to Walt Disney world is a lot of fun.  If you forget about transportation then you might create an unnecessary stress that you could have avoided in the first place.  The point of taking a trip to Orlando for a week is to get away from daily stress.  Don’t create anymore than you need to.  If you are extremely stressed about your naturalization application being approved, be sure your Walt Disney trip is relaxing and you can forget about the US immigration forms for a while.

Walt Disney World has many waterways that run directly through the theme park.  It might seem like all of the waterways are connected to each other.  However, it is not possible to take just one boat from one theme park to the other.  Most boats can only be ridden within the resort you are in and then you will need to get on a different boat.  Only think about a boat rental if you plan on remaining in just the one resort you are located.  This could be very convenient for you.  If you have the proper INS forms or a driver’s license, you should have a problem getting a boat rental approved.  Consider a different form of transportation if you want to go throughout the many different theme parks in Walt Disney World.

Another form of transportation is the monorail.  This is considered one of the most convenient methods of transportation.  Most people find themselves on the monorail at least once during their vacation.  The different resorts connected through the monorail include the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and the Contemporary.  This is a fun ride.  There are three loops connecting the monorail together.  The first stop the monorail stops at is the Magic Kingdom.  You will then ride non-stop to the Epcot center.  The Epcot center is the transportation hub and the ticketing center.  The monorail is the best option when you need to get to the ticketing center.

The buses in Walt Disney World are dedicated to tourists, running from early morning hours until late at night.  The buses are the heart of the transportation district for the resorts and most people ride them.  A direct service on the bus is usually offered at every resort to each of the different theme parks.  They are marked clearly and a convenient way to travel.

There are many different forms of transportation you can take around the Walt Disney World resorts.  When you plan your trip, don’t forget how you will get around.  Getting around during vacation could be extremely hectic and a nightmare if you don’t plan ahead.
