Many people don’t think about transportation issues when they plan a trip or travel to Walt Disney World. It is important to consider how big the theme park really is and it is almost impossible to travel through Orlando without properly planned transportation. Many of the ways you can travel throughout the theme park include the monorail, boats, and buses.

It is important that your vacation to Walt Disney world is a lot of fun. If you forget about transportation then you might create an unnecessary stress that you could have avoided in the first place. The point of taking a trip to Orlando for a week is to get away from daily stress. Don’t create anymore than you need to. If you are extremely stressed about your naturalization application being approved, be sure your Walt Disney trip is relaxing and you can forget about the US immigration forms for a while.

Walt Disney World has many waterways that run directly through the theme park. It might seem like all of the waterways are connected to each other. However, it is not possible to take just one boat from one theme park to the other. Most boats can only be ridden within the resort you are in and then you will need to get on a different boat. Only think about a boat rental if you plan on remaining in just the one resort you are located. This could be very convenient for you. If you have the proper INS forms or a driver’s license, you should have a problem getting a boat rental approved. Consider a different form of transportation if you want to go throughout the many different theme parks in Walt Disney World.

Another form of transportation is the monorail. This is considered one of the most convenient methods of transportation. Most people find themselves on the monorail at least once during their vacation. The different resorts connected through the monorail include the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and the Contemporary. This is a fun ride. There are three loops connecting the monorail together. The first stop the monorail stops at is the Magic Kingdom. You will then ride non-stop to the Epcot center. The Epcot center is the transportation hub and the ticketing center. The monorail is the best option when you need to get to the ticketing center.

The buses in Walt Disney World are dedicated to tourists, running from early morning hours until late at night. The buses are the heart of the transportation district for the resorts and most people ride them. A direct service on the bus is usually offered at every resort to each of the different theme parks. They are marked clearly and a convenient way to travel.

There are many different forms of transportation you can take around the Walt Disney World resorts. When you plan your trip, don’t forget how you will get around. Getting around during vacation could be extremely hectic and a nightmare if you don’t plan ahead.

If you are headed to Disney World for the first time there are many things to consider while you are on vacation. These things include getting up early, using a Fastpass, schedule Cinderella’s Royal Table breakfast 90 days in advance, and much more.

Most of the world sleeps in very late when they travel to Disney World. They consider themselves to be on vacation so they take their time getting out of bed before they head off to the park. If you can schedule every day to get up really early and be at the park when the fun begins you will be amazed what it will do for you. Because most of the world is still asleep and being lazy you can take advantage of virtually no lines on the rides. So while the rest of Walt Disney World is asleep you are not spending hours in each line during the day.

A Fastpass is a timesaving benefit at Disney World that many people don’t know about. It is free and offered at all four parks. This allows you to save hours of time that you would be spending waiting in line. All you have to do is insert the Fastpass in the machine at the line and you will receive a ticket. It will give you a designated hour when you can return to a special line and you will not have to wait. They will put you right on the ride immediately.

Always take the time to slow down and enjoy the things around you. Disney World is full of excitement and if you don’t take the time to rest you may become sick. If you are traveling during the holidays you may consider going for a walk and enjoying the artificial Christmas trees. The Christmas trees and decorations are wonderful. If you aren’t into the decorations of the artificial Christmas trees then you may consider just sitting for a while on a bench and resting or even taking a dip in the pool at your hotel. Get away from the chaos and relax in the middle of the day so you are not overwhelmed and too tired the next.

Another thing you need to do if you have a daughter is schedule her to dine with Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom for a 7am breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You must schedule this exactly 90 days in advance if you would like priority seating. Your daughter will have the most amazing vacation and this experience she will remember for many years to come.

There are many things you can do to make sure your vacation at Walt Disney World is much better. The best things you can do include getting up early. Even if you aren’t normally an early riser it will benefit you in many ways. You can also use a Fastpass to avoid lines. Don’t let the chaos get to you. Be sure to rest plenty and get your daughter at the table for breakfast with Cinderella.

Walt Disney World is a huge resort and offers many things to do – and many things to buy. It’s certainly not the sort of place you can visit without some planning, because you will miss some of the fascinating events and also some of the Disney World discounts and savings that can mean more fun. These tips can help you make your Disney World vacation more fun and easier on the wallet:

* Walt Disney World parks usually open every day at 9:00 am and close between 6:00 p.m. and midnight depending the season. You will want to plan to be in the doors as early as you can and you might want to plan to be in the park until closing to get the most value for your money and to see the most.

*Busy season at Disney World runs from mid-February to August and again from Christmas Day to New Years Day. Slower times include January, September, October and November. In the fall, there are often rain showers, so bring a plastic rain jacket. Keep in mind, too, that Tuesday is often busiest, and Friday and Sunday are often least crowded. Plan ahead if you want to beat the crowds. Many theme parks are less crowded after 4:00 as well. The one exception is Epcot, which is less crowded in the morning.

*Find out when parades are occurring, even if you do not want to see the parade. Parade time is a good time to hop on the most coveted rides, as more guests will be watching the parade and lines for the rides will be shorter. Consult the attraction boards in each park to see which rides have the longest and shortest waiting times.

*Choose hotels carefully. Hotels that are not part of the Disney resorts will often offer package deals that include Disney tickets and a rental car. Disney accommodations are often all-inclusive and can end up saving you money. Plan ahead and determine what each hotel stay includes.

*Bring your favourite candles with you. They can freshen up a stuffy room (important in the summer months) and, unlit, they keep the clothes in your suitcase smelling fresh. I prefer Trapp candles but choice is of course up to you.

*Consider getting The Magic Kingdom Club card. You can purchase the card, although many companies, employers, unions, and credit unions offer the card for free. The card offers you discounts and some free gifts at the Disney resort.

* Schedule character meals during less popular times (i.e. not 11:00am to 1:00pm or 5:00pm to 8:00pm). Character meals are normal breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that feature Disney characters. By making reservations for off-peak hours, your children will be able to get more attention from the characters and more individual photo opportunities.

* Take the “Richard Petty Driving Experience” at the Walt Disney World Speedway. This experienced allows you to attend a class and then drive an actual NASCAR racecar.

*Bring the most comfortable and broken-in shoes you can. Disney World does involve walking around as well as lots of standing in line. If you have any difficulties walking and standing, do not hesitate to make use of the wheelchairs and other aids that Disney makes available.

Whether you are pressed for time or taking a leisurely vacation at Disney World, there are some things you will not want to miss when you are in Orlando:

*The Disney Resorts. Disney resorts allow you to pack a little bit of extra Disney into your vacation and staying at a resort has extra perks as well – you don’t need a rental car to get to theme parks, and you get to enter some theme parks an hour before other guests. Look for Disney World discounts online to get the best deals on hotel stays. Most resorts also have props and fun backgrounds for your photos, too, so make sure you pack your cameras when you stay at the Disney Resorts.

*Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The 500-acre savannah contains many exotic plants an animals, which you can see while traveling around in an open-air truck. This is a great opportunity to take wonderful, one-of-a-kind Disney vacation photos, too. If you love going to the zoo, this will take your fascination with the animal kingdom to a whole new level.

*Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold. This 3D experience at DisneyQuest allows you to battle pirates on a virtual ship. There are many surprises and cool effects, virtually guaranteeing fun. Be sure to check out the other adventures, games, and rides at DisneyQuest, too.

*The food. Disney World now offers several upscale dining experiences, including The California Grill, the Flying Fish Cafe, Shula’s Steakhouse, and Wolfgang Puck’s. You may need to budget, but since you are on vacation you will want to indulge yourself at least once.

*Cirque du Soleil. If you haven’t seen this amazing show, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

*The Festival of the Lion King. This live show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom features acrobatics, singing, dancing, and Disney characters in costume. Arrive 30 minutes early, though, since this show is very popular.

*The 3D Honey, I Shrunk the Audience show at Epcot. This show is wonderfully funny and fun for guests of all ages.

*Fantasmic. This nighttime show at Disney/MGM Studios is included in your admission to the Studios. Fantasmic is all about music, fireworks, and special effects performed on an island stage. It’s well worth attending, even if you are tired after a full day of walking around Disney. Set your Seiko watches a few minutes later in the morning so that you can sleep in if you have to – just don’t miss this show.

*Splash Mountain. This fun ride at The Magic Kingdom features great sets, terrific music and a surprise finish. There are many chances to take wonderful photos.

*Character Meals. These meals are available at lunch, dinner, and breakfast and feature plenty of Disney characters. It’s a great chance to get your picture taken with your favorite characters while you feast. It’s also a great relaxing activity to start or finish your day at Disney World.
